Kim Butler moved to North Carolina from Long Island New York and absolutely loves living here! Falling in love not only with the area but also the level of service she received during her own real estate experience, Kim joined ROOST Real Estate as a Real Estate Buyer Specialist after first working with ROOST as a client. She was first introduced to the warm hospitality of the Tarheel State when exhibiting her home accessories company at the High Point Furniture Market.

Over the years, Kim made many lasting friendships here and finally decided to make NC her home. Kim understands that not only prioritizing her clients wants and needs, but also taking the time to understand who they are as a person ensures a positive and rewarding home search experience. She believes the connection she makes with them is what makes looking for a home a fun and meaningful adventure.

Kim and her husband, Bob, reside in Mooresville. They have 2 grown children, Courtney and Jack. Her favorite pastimes are being out on the lake and rooting for her favorite sports teams, the NY Jets and Carolina Tarheels.

Prior to real estate, Carmady was a middle school teacher, owned a photo booth rental company, and raised 2 children.  She’s also a veteran of the US Air Force.  Carmady finds it very rewarding to help people during one of the most important transitions of their lives. Carmady is originally from Charlotte but has lived in 15 states. She came back to this area to be near family. The tallest building in Charlotte used to be the NCNB tower at 40 stories (One South now), the square was the bus transit center, and uptown was downtown. Matthews was the country, and she’d never heard of Huntersville. Carmady says the transformation from a large town to a major city has been fascinating to observe.  She feels Charlotte has become what Atlanta was 20 years ago.

For fun, Carmady likes to play with her dogs, travel, go to live theatre events, volunteer, and catch up with friends

Ty moved to Mooresville in 2011 and has fallen in love with the Lake Norman area ever since. He attended Radford University where he was a member of the men’s varsity golf team and graduated with a degree in Communication. Personally, Ty enjoys anything outdoors. He loves golf, sports, hikes, and traveling. He has a black Labrador named Cash who often does all of these things with him. Jamie is originally from upstate New York and has a background in engineering, sales, and operations.  Prior to joining ROOST™, Jamie served as Chief Operating Officer at a real estate business development company, as well as Managing Director of a sales team with eXp Realty in NY.  Additionally, as a REALTOR®, Jamie helped clients buy and sell residential properties.

Prior to starting his career in real estate, Jamie was a digital marketing consultant, and also developed 3 successful direct sales businesses where he sold telecommunications and energy services, and recruited, trained, and mentored thousands of independent distributors to do likewise.  Jamie began his career as a mechanical engineer with General Motors in Research & Development where he developed hydrogen fuel cell systems.  Jamie holds a Master of Engineering degree from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University.

Jennifer is originally from upstate New York and has a 20 year background in social work, with 12 years in adoption services.  She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Roberts Wesleyan College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Lee University.  Jennifer obtained her real estate license in NY, and is also licensed in NC.  One of Jennifer’s greatest strengths is working with people, so her time is spent focusing on Client Services at ROOST™, as well as assisting Jamie in other areas as needed.
